Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to Earth to save us from sin and restore our relationship with God. His life, death, and resurrection changed history and brought hope to all of humanity. Through Jesus, we receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. He came to give us abundant life and to guide us in a relationship with God.
In John 14:6, Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
This means that salvation—our rescue from sin and spiritual death—comes only through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
If you are ready to begin a relationship with Jesus, it’s simple. It starts with faith, a step of believing in Him, and receiving His free gift of salvation. Here’s a guide to accepting Christ into your life:
1. Acknowledge Your Need We are all in need of God’s grace. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Recognizing that we need God’s forgiveness is the first step toward salvation.
2. Believe in Jesus Christ Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again to give you eternal life. His sacrifice was for you! In Romans 10:9, it says: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
3. Confess and Repent Confession and repentance mean turning away from sin and choosing to follow God. Simply talk to God and ask for His forgiveness. You can pray a prayer like this:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer, congratulations! You are now a child of God. Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we!

3. Pray Regularly Prayer is simply talking to God. As you build your relationship with Him, take time to pray each day. Tell God your thoughts, struggles, and joys, and ask for His guidance. He loves to hear from you.
4. Read the Bible The Bible is God’s Word and His message to us. Begin reading the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to learn about Jesus’ life and teachings. You can also follow along with our weekly Bible readings and devotionals. If you need help finding a Bible or understanding Scripture, we’re here to guide you.
5. Be Baptized Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Christ. It symbolizes the washing away of your old life and being made new in Jesus. If you would like to learn more about being baptized, we can help arrange this for you.
6. Stay Connected The Christian life is meant to be lived in community. Attend our online services regularly, engage in small groups, and be part of our eChurch family. Together, we will encourage and strengthen one another in the faith.
